lydiaejohnson@thepetchef.netBeing a lifetime pet lover and owner, I noticed that dogs and cats thrived on whole foods, usually didn't require medical care for dietary problems, were stronger and lived happy and more energetic lives. So I created a pet food line to share with other pet lovers as an alternative pet food choice.
I taste and serve every batch to my own pets, Bernie and Cocoa, before I offer them for sale to make sure it is healthy, tastes good and is pet friendly.
My training was at the California School of Culinary Arts,
Le Cordon Bleu, Pasadena, California, 2001 to 2003
The restaurants I've worked, The School Cafe, California School of Culinary Arts; Five Sixty-One Restaurant, Pasadena, California; Bastide, West Hollywood, California
Personal Chef, 2004 to present, intimate dinner parties; cooking classes, meals for weight watchers; cooking classes for pet owners; meals for home-restricted lifestyles
Chef Lylly's Organic Gardening Club, 2003 to present, seasonal garden of vegetables and herbs, trading with neighborhood gardeners. This garden also provides vegetables for The Doggie Bag
Culinary Manager for School Nutrition Plus, a corportion devoted to training children and school cafeterias to grow fresh vegetables and herbs to create healthy meals
Although I have been cooking all of my adult life, having been taught as a child by my mom who was always in the kitchen, I decided to become professionally trained so that I could enter the business world of cooking.
